Lovin' The View!

Ken took the kids to visit Grandma and Grandpa Williams at Utah Lake.  Grandpa took them on a boat ride.  It was fast and thrilling!!
Windy and a little chilly, but good times with Grandma!
Brook and Spencer got to sit on the front of the boat.  Calm waters! Such a gorgeous view!
Posing for the camera, of course!  Looks like they had a blast!

Six Flags Magic Mountain!

We decided to fly into John Wayne airport.
Meeting the characters at Six Flags was Lydia's favorite thing to do there!
My favorite thing was taking pictures!!
Such perfect weather in California!
Poor Brighton was too short for Superman by 1/8 of an inch!  He was so excited and got all the way to the front of the line, but they wouldn't let him on.

X2 is one of the newest rides....and the scariest!!  Ken couldn't wait to ride it!
Goliath is a HUGE roller coaster.  One of the favorites!

The kids got a kick out of pretending to be Elmer Fudd!
Tweety and Sylvester liked Lydia so much that they autographed her map!
She felt so special!
Batman and The Flash were stopping everyone to take pictures.  Brooklyn felt a little silly but hey....they're awesome!
I think Lydia had a little crush on Batman.  She kept wanting to go look for him after this.
Mom and Lydia stuck together in Bugs Bunny Town.  Good times!!
 Lydia rode the train
 and the bus
and even Tweety's bird cages!  No lines so she got right on!

Savor the Moments that are Warm and Special and Giggly

Lydia's friends, Ashley & Courtney came over for a play date.
The girls wanted to blow bubbles
Thankfully it was a nice day outside!

Ashley, Lydia, and Courtney fit perfectly on the piano bench!
They were so silly playing the piano
And singing along!  Friends are the best!

Boys, Boys, Boys!

Spencer invited his cousins Jared & Ryan to our house since they were out of school for Martin Luther King Day.  Getting the boys together is definitly a different experience than having all the girls over. They all have new gadgets.  Jared has an ipod touch and a netbook, Ryan has an ipod touch, and Spencer has a youtube camera.  They spent lots of time downstairs in the computer room putting together AFK youtube videos, creating stickman halo & zombie videos, and sending eachother (and Ken & I) funny texts.  Of course, time went by too fast and they didn't finish all they wanted to.  It will have to wait until next time!

Williams' Cousins

Aunt Jenn came down from Idaho to visit this weekend.  We got together at Ken's Dads house and the kids got to play together for the first time in 3 months.  We had a good time watching them play hide & seek while the older kids watched videos on youtube.  Grandma & Grandpa bought pizza for everyone.  Good memories!

Christmas Kittens

Our cat, Cocoa delivered 3 adorable kittens on Christmas Eve!  This is her second litter.  The first litter had 2 white & grey kittens, 1 orange, and 1 calico/dark grey. This litter is really different from the first.  All three are black.  Each one is unique in their own way.  We can finally tell them apart.  We haven't been able to determine their gender 100%, but we think there are 2 girls and 1 boy.  The kids wanted to come up with Christmas names for them.  We've come up with Bells, Holly & Coal.  They are now 2 weeks old and have their eyes open.  We kept one kitten from the first litter, and her name is Esme. She loves the kittens as much as Cocoa does. She likes to lay in he box with them and makes sure they are all clean & warm when her mother is gone. It definately has been an adventure!

I'm so excited to start our family blog!  I'm looking forward to capturing memories that we can remember for years to come.  My goal is to make posts every week so that we can look back in a year and see what we've accomplished as a family.  I've seen so many creative ideas from other friend & family blogs!  This is one resolution I am determined to succeed at this year.
